I was in a discussion with your forum host (under Your Forum Host thread), and something popped into our conversation. The pre-mortal existence. I would like to invite everyone to do a little reading and explain why this doctrine is or is not true. I really am a nice guy, and I would like a calm civil discussion. I am just as willing to learn as I am willing to explain what I believe.
This article explains from an LDS perspective and uses many Biblical Scriptures to support its claims. Although, as a Mormon, you must realize that we have modern revelation as well, (which are quoted only at the beginning of the article) but we don't even have to get into that if you don't want to, aside from simply reading what the author has to say. (You can ignore the beginning LDS scripture quotes if you want to.) But at least read the rest, then come back here and discuss with me.

Thank you for your time.

The evidence demonstrates the ancient Jewish and Christian belief of pre-mortal existence, when it was deemed heretical (530 something A.D.), and the logic behind it (many non-Mormon sources). The scriptures in the Bible are here. I guess it comes down to how you interpret them and why. So read the whole link and how this belief was part of the primitive church, and then look at these. Pray for understanding.
